The Fruits of Labor!

In education, there have been numerous amounts of victories in our nation this season like debt relief for so many student loan borrowers and graduation ceremonies of many sorts across the country.  As a result of perseverance and hard work, many have and are looking forward to reaping the rewards of their labor.

We as believers also reap the benefits of an accomplished work. Although it is not a work of our own doing, we inherit the joy that comes with it. This work is the finished work of the cross of Jesus Christ our Lord. As a result of his sacrifice, we are enjoying the fruit of God’s grace and mercy.  We have access to his peace, presence, perspective, power, and patience, among so many other things. (Act. 1:5,8; Galatians 5:22-13; 2 Cor. 3:17-18),

Let’s remember to give thanks daily to the Lord for All his benefits today, shall we?

Psalm 103: 2-5

2) Bless the Lord, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

3) Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases,

4) Who redeems your life from destruction,

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5) Who satisfies your mouth with good things,

So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
