Moms Are Healers

We all know that a day in May just isn’t enough to really give honor to the female built-in physicians in our homes who have mended our cuts and bruises.  The nurses in our homes that defeated countless fevers, headaches, colds and flu’s.

Some moms have helped us navigate through bad relationships that ended with hurt feelings, regret from multiple mistakes, betrayals, etc.  Some moms have been the only one who answers the phone when they know that it’s you, because no one on earth matters more. I mean, who needs a therapist after a dose of that kind of love and loyalty, right?

Moms are arguably our first and biggest fans on the planet, and they are willing to fight tooth and nail for you if need be. Yeah, the moms who will do whatever “it” may be, because she still sees someone who needs her, even when we’ve told her a million times how “GROWN UP” we are.  It’s not that they don’t believe us.  It’s just that the words “grown up” doesn’t make you any less “hers”, If that makes any sense to you.  Maybe those are the specific moments we are given to give back some of the patience that they have poured into us all of those years. Possibly, to prepare us to be future healers ourselves.

Here’s to all the moms who always know where it hurts. To those who are patient and prayerful enough to wait for us to finally ask for and receive your help, undeniable love, prayers, and wisdom…

We STILL Celebrate You!!!
